Who wouldn’t want to be a fly on the wall of the Oval Office during the most scandalous presidency in U.S. history? OUR NIXON, the latest documentary from filmmakers Penny Lane and Brian L. Frye, is composed entirely of home movies taken by Nixon administrators H.R. Haldeman, John Ehrlichman, and Dwight Chapin throughout their time spent with the most infamous president in history. The FBI seized these tapes during the Watergate investigation, and OUR NIXON is the first piece to bring them to light since.

The film’s narration takes the form of recordings from the Oval Office that provide both context for the viewer and a frightening insider’s perspective on events of the period. If you think you know everything about the man leading the USA in the early ’70s, unfortunately, you’re very wrong. From his blatant homophobia to his dictatorial remarks, the man behind Nixon’s public mask will shock and awe you. OUR NIXON is proof that there are not only two sides to every story, but two layers of truth, as well.
